METRO MANILA –Anim na araw na lang at bababa na sa pwesto si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Bago opisyal na lisanin ang Malacañang, umaasa itong maipagpapatuloy ng hahalili sa kaniya na si President-Elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang mga programa ng pamahalaang nakatutulong sa mga Pilipino.
Ginawa nito ang pahayag sa ceremonial turnover ng Madayaw residences units sa mga benepisyaro sa Talomo District, Davao City.
“But I hope that the next administration will also continue the things that would make our people happy. Although not all but may makita sila that we are doing something with the money of the people.
Kabilang na dito ang low-cost housing program para sa uniformed personnel, mga kawani ng gobyerno at Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).” ani Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte
Hinikayat din nito ang National Housing Authority (NHA) na paigtingin pa ang pagtugon sa pangangailangan sa pabahay ng ating mga kababayan.
“As the agency transitions under a new leadership in a few days, I urge the NHA to intensify its mandate of addressing the housing needs of our countrymen, especially the homeless, marginalized, and low-income families. I am confident that your steadfast efforts in the succeeding administration will redound to a more active, participative and productive society.” ani Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Bukod sa housing project, nababanggit na ng outgoing president ang hiling nito kay PBBM na ituloy ang laban kontra iligal na droga sa bansa.
At kahit wala na rin sa pwesto, iginiit ni Pangulong Duterte na handa siyang ipagtanggol sa hukuman ang mga uniformed personnel na gumaganap ng tungkulin upang magapi ang drug syndicates sa bansa.
