LEGAZPI, Albay – Nakalaya na si Daraga Mayor Carlwyn “Awin” Baldo matapos siyang payagan ni Judge Maria Theresa San Juan Loquillano ng Legazpi Regional Trial Court Branch 10 ang petisyon ng kampo ni Mayor Baldo na makapagpiyansa.

Umabot sa P3 million cash at P4 million worth of property bond ang piyansa ng Alkalde.

Si Baldo ay inaresto noong  Enero 22, 2019 dahil sa mga nakuhang hindi lisensyadong armas. Itinuturo rin siyang mastermind sa pagpatay kay AKO Bicol Partylist Representative Rodel Batocabe.

Ayon kay Assistant Regional Director Atty. Romeo Serrano ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) 5, mag-uusap-usap muna ang mga concerned agencies na bumubuo sa special task force  kung pahihintulutan na nito na makaupo sa pwesto bilang Alkalde.

“Hangga’t hindi pa sila nag-convene whatever is allowed under the government code kung sabihin ng dilg na, you comply with this verse and he can ano kung ano ang requirements for re-assumptions under the code,” pahayag ni Serrano.
