METRO MANILA – Posibleng umabot pa hanggang sa katapusan ng taong kasalukuyan ang State of Public Health Emergency na idineklara ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., hindi pa niya ili-lift, o aalisin ang bisa ng proklamasyon.
Sa ilalim ng State of Public Health Emergency, pinalalakas ang kapasidad ng mga ahensya at mga lokal na pamahalaan, na umaksyon upang mapigilan ang pagkalat at hawaan ng COVID-19.
“Because maraming mga binibigay sa international medical community kapag state of emergency. Who is one of them. At kung itigil natin ‘yung state of emergency, matitigil ‘yun. But if we can change — we are looking at amending the law in terms of procurement and all of that in the middle of an emergency. But that will take time.
