Manila, Philippines – Hindi pa rin tapos ang National Board of Canvassers (NB0C) sa pagta-tally ng mga Certificates of Canvass (COC).
4 na coc ang kailangan pang tapusin ng nboc, ito ay mula sa Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, USA , Nigeria at 1 coc mula sa Zamboanga Del Dur at Isabela
Ang mga nasabing coc ay may katumbas na 2, 324,838 na boto. Kaya naman paliwanang ng comelec, hindi pa posibleng ma-proklama ang mga nanalong senador at partylist groups ngayong araw. Maaari aniyang matuloy ito sa araw ng Martes o Miyerkules.
“On the matter of proclamation of the senators and partylist, we will announce the date and the time l. We are hoping that it will be early this week..” ani Education and Information Department Director, Atty Frances Arabe .
Kasama rin sa hinihintay ng comelec ay ang mga boto na magmumula sa Jones Isabela na magsasagawa ng special elections bukas dahil sa mga sinunog na vcms at balota.
Muling binanggit ng comelec na sabayan ang proklamasyon gagawin sa mga senador at partylist groups at walang partilal proclamation na itatakda ang poll body .
“The commission en banc wants a 100% proclamation. We will try our best to canvass all the cocs so we can only have one event for the proclamation of senators and the partylist as well, it will be done in one day but seperate schedule. So partylist will be done in the morning and the proclamation for the senators in the afternoon..” ani Education and Information Department Director, Atty Frances Arabe .
Ipinaliwanag din ng comelec na naantala ng isang linggo ang canvassing ng mga boto mula sa overseas absentee voting dahil sa mga depektibong sd cards.
Kinailangan pa aniyang palitan ang sd cards sa naturang mga bansa. Nanggaling pa sa aniya sa warehouse hub sa Sta Rosa Laguna ang mga sd cards na kapalit ng mga depektibo at corrupted.
“They had to ship the replacement of sd cards they should have transmitted it at the close of voting may 13,6pm philippine time. So that should have been the date they should have transmitted the votes..” ani Education and Information Department Director, Atty Frances Arabe .
Umaasa naman ang comelec office for absentee voting na bukas ay makakapagpatuloy na ang transmission pagkakuha ng bagong sd cards
“Actually iyong japan nasa fedex na ng japan, such that close daw yung fedex today hindi nila makuha so we are trying everything kung papaano makuha agad, for them to be able to transmit kaya lang kay japan may naiiwan pang parang 200 ballots to feed before transmission…. For saudi and us wala ng ifefeed transmission nalang. Kay japan 200 more ballots sa tokyo iyan to feed and then go na yung transmission.. So kung sarado sila ngayon tomorrow yun pwedeng makuha yung sd card and the by tomorrow probably maka- transmit yung time just don’t know pero tomorrow hoping tommorow makuha na.” ani Comelec Office for Overseas Voting, Eliza Sabile- David.
