North Korean Ambassador Kang Chol arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Monday, just a couple of hours ahead of the deadline set by Malaysia for him to leave the country.
North Korea has refused to accept that the victim of the February 13 murder at Kuala Lumpur Airport was leader Kim Jong Un’s half brother.
Kang has accused Malaysian government of colluding with external forces and said the investigation could not be trusted.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak branded ambassador Kang “diplomatically rude” and, was angered by the lack of an apology.
The Malaysian government on Saturday gave him 48 hours to leave the country.
