Kinumpirma ni President-Elect Rodrigo Duterte na nakipagpulong siya sa emisaryo at mga consultant ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines o NDFP noong Martes ng gabi.

Ayon kay Duterte, ipinirisinta sa kaniya sa pangunguna ng NDFP Peace Panel spokesperson na si Fidel Agcaoili ang listahan ng mga nominee para sa mga cabinet position.

Tumanggi muna siyang idetalye ito ngunit nasa sampung pangalan anya ang nasa listahan at apat naman dito ay mga kababaihan.

Matatandaan na sinabi ni Duterte na ang mga posisyon bilang kalihim sa Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Agrarian Reform and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources ay plano niyang ibigay sa progressive groups.

Kaugnay naman ng usapang pangkapayapaan, plano ni Duterte na pumunta sa Jolo, Sulu upang makipagusap naman sa grupo ng Moro National Liberation Front o MNLF.
