METRO MANILA – Humanga ang kinatawan ng World Health Organization sa modelo at konsepto ng MCGI-UNTV health facility sa Malolos, Bulacan.
Ayon kay Kenneth Samaco, technical support for field operation for Covid response ng WHO, beyond standards ang pagkakagawa nito dahil sa mga modernong gamit dito.
Kabilang ang negative room pressure na may air filtering system upang masiguro na malinis ang hangin sa loob at labas ng pasilidad.
Namangha rin ito sa state of the art sewerage system na may water filter technology upang tiyak na hindi kontaminado ang tubig na ginamit sa pasilidad na maaari ring i-reuse o muling gamitin sa pagdidilig, paghuhugas at iba pa.
“My initial reaction while entering the building, i felt safe. I think yun yung isa sa titingnan natin sa mga ttmf natin is yung safety ng mga tao. Mayroon itong 32 individual isolation rooms na may kaniya-kaniyang toilet, telebisyon para paglilibang , intercom at cctv para sa pagmomonitor ng mga nurse at doktor sa kalagayan ng mga pasyente.

Pinuri rin ni Interagency Task Force for the Management of the Emerging Infectious Diseases Bulacan Vice President Dr. Jocelyn Gomez ang mga programa para sa physical, mental at psychological wellness ng mga Covid-19 patient sa pasilidad .
“Nakita namin talaga yung mga programa hindi lang yung treatment. Di ba? Ang ating national task force ay we are guided by the strategic interventions. Ito yung prevent, detect, isolate, treat and reintegrate. So, kasama itong reintegration dito sa programa ninyo na nakakatuwa.” ani Vice President, IATF-Bulacan Dr Jocelyn Gomez.
Nagpasalamat din ito sa pagpapatayo ng MCGI-UNTV health facility na unang temporary treatment and monitoring facility para sa Covid-19 patients sa lalawigan na mula sa partnership ng government at pribadong sektor.
Umaasa ang mga kinatawan ng WHO at IATF na magsisilbing modelo ang MCGI-UNTV health facility para sa pagpapatayo ng mga isolation facility sa pagtutulungan ng pribadong sektor at pamahalaan laban sa pandemya.
