Tiniyak ng mababang kapulungan ng Kongreso na hindi maaapektuhan ng impeachment proceedings ang pagpasa ng mahahalagang panukalang batas.

Ayon kay House Deputy Leader Congresswoman Sharon Garin, pito sa siyam na priority bills ang naipasa na ng Kamara sa kabila ng may impeachment complaint na dinidinig sa Justice Committee.

Kabilang dito ang comprehensive tax reform program, utilization of the coconut levy fund, United National ID System Act, Strengthening the Balik-Scientist Program Occupational Safety and Health Standard Compliance Act, Universal Health Care Act, ang amendment sa Public Service Act at ang general appropriations bill.

Nakapila na rin para ipasa ng Kamara ang expanded local Absentee Voting Act, State Tax Reform Act, One Town, One Doctor Act, amendments to Anti-Hazing Law at ang pag buo ng department of disaster response.
