METRO MANILA – Welcome sa palasyo ang inihaing diplomatic protest ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Junior laban sa China kamakailan.

Isa itong hakbang upang protektahan ang ating teritoryo lalo na’t inaangkin ng China ang West Philippine sea.

Ngunit may ilang nagpahayag ng pangamba na baka makaapekto ito sa Covid-19 vaccine procurement ng bansa.

Ngunit ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, wala itong magiging epekto sa pagbili natin ng bakuna.

Sa kasalukuyang ay tuloy-tuloy ang nakikipagnegosasyon ng Pilipinas sa China para sa milyon-milyong doses ng vaccine supply.

“Walang pong epekto yan, dahil ibang usapin naman ang bakuna. Ang bakuna po is actually humanitarian act of the entire plane earth in response to humanitarian disaster.” ani Presidential Spokesperson Sec. Harry Roque.

Giit din ng palace official, bagaman nananatili ang foreign policy ng bansa na friends to all, enemies to none, ipagtatangol ng pamahalaan ang interes ng bansa at ng mga mamamayan.

“We welcome the diplomatic protest of the DFA, and this will prove that the Philippines is fully committed to the rule of law and will assert all its right available under existing principles of international law to defend its interests.” ani Presidential Spokesperson Sec. Harry Roque.
