METRO MANILA – Nitong lunes lang dinala sa San Lazaro Hospital ang 29 anyos na lalake na mula sa Yunnan, China. Kinakitaan ito ng sintomas ng 2019 Novel Coronavirus, pero kanina pumanaw na ito.

Ayon kay Department Of Health (DOH)  Sec Francisco Duque III nagpositibo ang pasyente sa Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Kaya posibleng ito rin ang ikinamatay nito.

“Ang dami- daming lesion ung tao sa mukha, sa ilong sobrang dami if only I could show you the picture. Payat na payat iyong tao pati pwet may warts. It’s possible again na mukhang may sepsis. So I think it’s more of an overwhelming opportunist infection” ani DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III.

Samantala 27 na ang mga pasyenteng inoobserbahan ng DOH na nagpapakita ng sintomas ng 2019 nCoV, o ang tinatawag na Patients Under Investigation (PUI).Pero 4 sa mga ito ay nakalabas na ospital at negatibo sa naturang virus.

Ayon sa DOH Epidemiology Bureau hindi pa rin dapat mangamba ang publiko dahil base sa kanilang pag-aaraal mas mabilis pang makahawa ang tigdas kaysa sa nCoV.

“The measles (arnot) is 18, the infectivity rate. 1 person is to 18 kakalat so this is just to show you this is a much less.” ani DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III.

Ayon naman kay WHO Country Representayive Dr Radindra Abeyasinghe wala pang sapat na dahilan para mag- deklara ng global health emergency.

“The committee members are having access to all the evidence that is emerging. So at very short notice the committee can be reconvened if who decides and dg decides that that’s necessary” ani WHO Country Representayive Dr Radindra Abeyasinghe.
