Nakiisa ang Cebu Provincial Government sa 1st quarter nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill ngayong araw.

Ipinakita ng mga participants ang kanilang kahandaan sakaling tumama ang 7 point 8 magnitude na lindol.

Ilan sa scenario ay ang mass casualty incident, high angle rescue, collapse structure rescue, fire suppression, vehicle extraction at air evacuation.

Sabay-sabay na isinagawa ang earthquake drill sa Cebu Capitol Ground, Piling lugar sa Sugbo South Road Properties, Vicente Sotto Medical Memorial Medical Center, Cebu City Medical Center at sa AFP Central Command Headquarters sa Lahug.

Ito ay pinangunahan ni Governor Hilario P. Davide The Third.
