Kinondena ni Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ang napabalitang pagpugot ng Abu Sayyaf Group sa Canadian hostage na si Robert Hall.

Ayon kay Trudeau, nagkausap na sila ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino the third na nagpaabot ng pakikiramay sa Canada at sa pamilya ng mga biktima. 



Nanindigan naman ang Canadian leader na hindi magbabayad ng ransom sa mga terorista.

“Canada cannot and will not pay ransoms to terrorists. We will not turn the maple leaves worn with pride by over 3 million Canadians abroad into targets. We are more committed than ever to working with the Government of the Philippines and international partners to pursue those responsible for these heinous acts and bring them to justice however long it takes.” Pahayag ni Trudeau.
