Manila, Philippines – Iginiit ng Malacañang na sa pamamagitan pa rin ng bilateral negotiations malulutas ang territorial dispute ng Pilipinas at China sa South China Sea.

Isa ito sa napagkasunduan nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Chinese President Xi Jinping sa sidelines ng second belt and road forum for international cooperation.

Kasama sa tinalakay sa pulong ng dalawang lider ang mga itinuturing na “irritants” o mga isyung nakakaaapekto sa ugnayan ng Pilipinas at China tulad ng presensya ng mga chinese vessel malapit sa teritoryo ng Pilipinas.

“Both sides repeated their previous position on the matter. And they both agree na whatever irritants or challenges, pag-usapan natin sa negotiation” ani Presidential Spokepserson & Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Sec. Salvador Panelo.
