Simula nang magkaroon ng Covid-19 pandemic, kasabay rin nito ang pagsibol ng “infodemic” o ang pagkalat na mga fake news o mga impormasyong hindi beripikado, kaya naman ang mga medical at vaccine expert, nakatutok din sa pagsagot sa mga lumalabas na maling impormasyon sa iba’t ibang social media platforms.
Ayon sa Executive Director ng Philippine Foundation for Vaccination at bahagi ng national adverse events following immunization committee pediatric infectious disease na si Dr. Lulu Bravo, “hindi totoo na nakaaapekto sa behavior o pag-uugali ng isang bata ang bakuna kontra Covid-19.”
“When you listen to this, you really have to investigate, where it is coming from do not listen to all these news, unless it is officially reported, unless it is investigated you cannot say that this is brought about by the vaccine because a lot of people are doing fake news. Learn to trust the experts and not the “nayers”, ayon kay Dr. Lulu Bravo, Executive Director, Philippine Foundation for Vaccination.
Maling impormasyon din aniya na sabihing experimental lang ang Covid-19 vaccines gaya ng mga sinasabi ng iba sa social media.
Ayon pa kay Dr. Bravo, hindi totoong tatagal at malulusaw ng mrna vaccine gaya ng Pfizer at moderna Covid-19 vaccines ang mga organ sa katawan ng isang indibidwal
“Again these are claims by anti-vaxxers and you know all over the world that anti-vaxxers are really getting money out of having these actually being disseminated, they get donations from other anti-vaxxers and this where their claim is purely speculative, there is no evidence,” dagdag ni Dr. Bravo.
Suportado rin naman ng Phil. Medical Association na binubuo ng libu-libong mga medical experts sa bansa ang pagbabakuna sa mga bata.
Ang presidente ng PMA ay isa ring pediatrician at pinabulaanan ang mga lumalabas na impormasyong nakamamatay at mapanganib sa kalusugan ng mga bata ang Covid-19 vaccines.
“Every pediatrician I know, their patients want to get vaccinated early. Most important is to prepare the child, the child must be advised the pain, the minimal side effects, the parents should be also be advised,” pahayag ni Dr. Benito Atienza, President, Phil. Medical Association.
Mahigit limang milyon na mga tao na sa buong mundo ang nasawi dahil sa Covid-19 simula nang magkaroon ng pandemya. Ayon sa mga eskperto, kung hindi nakatuklas ang Covid-19 vaccines, sampung beses pa ang dami ng nasawi kung hindi nabigyan ng proteksyon ang nakararami
Tiniyak pa ng mga vaccine at pedia experts, hindi nila isusugal ang buhay ng kanilang mga anak at mga apo kung talagang mapanganib ang Covid-19 vaccines para sa mga batang populasyon.
