Ipinahayag ni Senate President Franklin Drilon na sisikapin ng Senado na tapusin ngayon huwebes ang debate sa Proposed National Budget na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit tatlong trilyong piso .

Pansamantalang kinansela ang mga schedule ng Senate Committee Hearing upang mas makapokus ang mga senador sa pagtalakay sa national budget sa plenary level.

November 28 hanggang December 1 naman ito naka-schedule sa Bicameral Conference Committee.

Umaasa naman si Sec. Butch Abad na muling maipapasa ang budget bago matapos ang taon.

“We are really happy because this is our 6th budget and you know for the 6th straight year we submitted it early and there’s a good chance once again it will be signed before the year ends which is really good for the economy as well as for the execution of the budget.” pahayag ni Abad.(UNTV News)
