At least nine people were injured after a suspect drives into people at Ohio State University and then cuts victims with a butcher knife.
Ohio State University Police Chief Craig Stone says the male driver jumped the curb to strike his first victim, exited the vehicle armed with a butcher knife and cut more people.
A campus police officer who arrived at the scene shot and killed the suspect less than a minute after the attack began.
The suspect has not been publicly identified.
Officials also declined to say what might have motivated the attack and whether the attacker is a student at the university.
