Nilinaw ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board o LTFRB na hindi pa sakop 20% discount sa pamasahe ng estudyante at senior citizen ang uber at grab.

Ayon kay LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez mahirap pang maibawas ang discount sa pasahe dahil computerized ang payment system sa mga transport network vehicle.

“Hindi pa po yan naka input sa kanilang system so that will be part of our recommendation for the next board to study wether or not the 20% discount should be applicable sa TNV’s.” Pahayag ni Ginez

Napaalala naman ang LTFRB na limang libong piso ang multa sa mga hindi magbibigay ng 20% student at senior citizens discount sa pasahe sa mga public utility vehicles gaya ng bus at jeep.
