A giant sinkhole has formed on a seaside cliff of San Francisco, closing access to a popular beach.
The sinkhole is about 15-yards across, leaving a gaping hole in a trail that leads down to the beach in pacifica.
Officials say the sinkhole appeared over the weekend because of large waves called “king tides.”
Officials cannot say whether or when the beach would reopen to the public.
