Dinismiss ng Senate Electoral Tribunal ang quo warranto petition na inihain ni Rizalito David laban kay Sen. Grace Poe sa botong 5-4.

Kabilang sa mga bumoto, pabor kay Poe ay sina Senators Tito Sotto, Loren Legarda, Bam Aquino, Cynthia Villar at Pia Cayetano.

Habang kontra naman sina Senator Nancy Binay, Supreme Court Associate Justices Antonio Carpio, Arthuro Brion at Teresita de Castro.

Ang kasong ito na inihain ni Rizalito David ay humihiling na alisin bilang senador si Poe.

“It was a vote of 5 to 4. 5 dismissing the petition of Mr. David and 4 concurring with the petition of Mr. David in short 5 voted to uphold the natural born citizenship of Sen.Mary Grace Poe Llamanzares and 4 decided against that.” pahayag ni Senador Loren Legarda.
