METRO MANILA – Nilinaw ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na tuloy pa rin ang distribusyon ng ayuda sa National Capital Region (NCR), Laguna, at Bataan.
Kaalinsabay ito ng kumakalat na maling impormasyon na hindi na itutuloy ang pagbibigay ng ayuda matapos ibaba sa mas maluwag na Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) sa NCR Plus.
“It’s not true that the Ayuda for NCR Plus will stop because we have shifted to MECQ. That is fake news.” ani DILG Undersecretary and Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.
Samantala, mayroon na lamang hanggang bukas ( August 25) ang bawat LGU para makumpleto ang pagbibigay ng cash assistance.
Nakadepende naman sa sitwasyon kung tatanggapin ng DILG, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at ng Department of National Defense (DND) ang request for extension ng mga LGU.
