METRO MANILA – Pinuri ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang pagsusumikap ng mga contact tracers(CTs) matapos tumaas sa 94% cases traced at nasa 91% ng may mga kaso ng Covid-19 ang naipadadala sa isolation araw-araw.
“14,756 out of 15,635 probable cases/suspects are traced within 24 hours and 14,266 (91%) of them are isolated in the same period. Meanwhile, 6,769 out of 8,139 (83%) of the confirmed cases are traced and 6,410 (79%) of them are isolated or quarantined in that span of time.”, datos ng DILG Central Emergency Operations Center (EOC) na iprinisenta kay DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año.
Kinilala rin ni Secretary Año ang mga sakripisyo ng mga CTs upang maagapan ang pagkalat ng salot sa bansa. “Our contact tracers are our heroes in the fight against COVID-19. Without them we would be losing this battle. Mabuhay po kayo!” ani Secretary Año.
Lubos din ang pasasalamat ng kalihim sa mga LGUs dahil sa pakikiisa sa vaccination roll-out nationwide kung saan nasa 1.1 Million administered doses sa loob ng lamang ng 1 Linggo.
Dagdag pa ni Año ,umabot na sa higit 5 Milyon na mga Pilipino ang nakatanggap ng COVID 19 dose at walang pang naiuulat na kaso ng pagkamatay dahil dito.
Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroon ng 110,378 contact tracers (CTs) ang bansa.
