May sampung application sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board o LTFRB para sa provisional authority upang makapag operate bilang Transport Network Vehicle Service o TNVS.

Pito sa nasabing sampung application ay mga Mitsubishi Montero Sports.

Subalit hindi pa man nasusuri ng LTFRB ang mga application ay hinarang na ito ni Atty. Felizardo Tiu.

Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroong tatlumpung kliente si Atty. Tiu na nagrereklamo sa Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation.

Ang mga reklamo ay kaugnay ng sudden unintended acceleration ng Montero Sports.

Ayon kay Tiu, bukod sa pagpapahinto dapat ay makapag labas ng kautusan ang LTFRB sa uber at grab na huwag na rin pahintulutan ang mga Montero Sports na mag-operate bilang grab at uber.

“It is just fair and proper na protektahan natin yung riding public, kasi you might not be using Montero Sports but if that Montero is on the highway then suddenly magkaroon ng problema gaya ng sudden unintended acceleration who would stop them”. Pahayag ni Atty. Tiu

Ayon naman sa LTFRB, hihintayin nila ang magiging resulta ng imbestigasyon ng Department of Trade and Industry bago mag desisyon sa reklamo ni Atty. Tiu.

Subalit kung si LTFRB Board Member Ariel Inton ang tatanungin, sususpindihin nya ang mga Montero Sport na uber at grab.
