“In the wake of the 146,062 cases recorded since January up to july 20 this year. This is 98% higher than the same period in 2018. And alarmingly, there had been reports of 622 deaths so mataas ito at .4% case fatality rate..” ani DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III.
“Kaya nga meron tayong memorandum circular that was signed by me a while ago so that all agencies that are members of the ndrrmc know what they’re doing” ani NDRRMC Sec. Delfin Lorenzana.
“The kit offers a simplified method of confirming the presence of dengue virus in a patient’s blood thus it can be used to detect dengue infections at the start of the fever. It will be rolled out nationwide starting with regions with high number of dengue patients.” ani DOST Sec. Fortunato Dela Peña.
“it’s really just levelling up which means the local government units now armed with the national declaration of national dengue epidemic. This will facilitate their declaration of their respective lgus state of calamity at dahil oi diyan ay kanila pong maaabot ang kanilang quick response fund na magagamit po nila sa karagdagang supplies and logistcs at mga iba pang pangangailangan..” ani DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III.
“The dengvaxia according to the who this is not recommended for an outbreak response. This is not cost effective. This vaccine does not squarely address the most vulnerrable group whch is the 5-9 years of age.” ani DOH Sec Francisco Duque III.
