Kasong usurpation of authority or official functions violation of section 3-A of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, grave misconduct, gross neglect of duty at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service ang kahaharapin ng mga ito kaugnay sa nangyaring Mamasapano incident.

Ayon kay Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales labag sa batas ang pakikialam at pagbibigay ng order ni Purisima sa pagsasagawa ng Oplan Exodus dahil ito ay suspendido ito.

Habang labag din sa batas ang pagtanggap ni Napeñas ng utos mula sa suspendidong hepe ng PNP.
