A series of strong earthquakes hit Central Italy on Wednesday, striking fear among residents.
The US geological survey initially attributed a magnitude of 5-point-6 to the first quake and 6-point-4 to the second, before revising them lower.
The epicentres of both quakes were near the town of Castel San Tangelo Sul Nera in the Marche Region.
Electrical power was lost in some areas and several roads were closed.
Several old structures were damaged and schools were ordered closed on Thursday.
The nearby town of Visso reported several injuries but there were no immediate reports of deaths.
