The Filipino community in Canada warmly welcomed Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol to attend a town hall meeting last Saturday.

He is the first cabinet member of Pres. Duterte to visit Canada.

Hundreds of Filipinos from all over Canada participated in the conversations at the auditorium of Canada Christian College

The secretary actively answers questions from our compatriots in an all Filipino question-and-answer meeting particularly about government programs for Overseas Filipino Workers especially those under temporary working programs and cooperations especially in agriculture.

He also mentioned part of the planned agreement between Canada and the Philippines’ on exportation of Filipino goods.

Agricultural Secretary Manny Pinol encourages our fellow filipinos here in canada to invest in agricultural business in the Philippines, as it will help in expanding our country’s economy.
