Authorities burned about 98 tons of seized narcotic drugs and liquor on the outskirts of Afghan Capital Kabul.
The narcotics put on fire and demolished include opium, heroin, morphine, hashish and other types of illegal drugs.
Deputy Interior Minister for Counter-Narcotics General Baz Mohammad Ahmadi says all the drugs and alcoholic beverages were confiscated this year.
He adds more than 700 suspects have been arrested for drug trafficking.
